Running between the beautiful village of Linton and the banks of the River Wharfe, Wetherby Golf Club offers a good challenge for golfers in a beautiful setting.
Since the club was founded in 1910, the club has looked to continually improve their golfing experience.
From 1920, when Augusta’s designer Dr Alistair McKenzie designed a version of the course, to the early 2000’s when 6 new holes replaced old ones, Wetherby Golf Club has never been afraid to challenge their own status quo. The fact only two McKenzie greens are at part of the present course is testament to the progressive attitude that runs through the club.
In recent years, the 17th and 18th have been remodelled to take the course challenge up another level.
